That's always fun if I could draw rats, I'd no doubt do ratty drawings too. I used to be allergic, but I've outgrown it, and other family members have grown INTO an allergy. But they are, they are the BEST pets. Right up there with rats at the top of my list of the best animals to have as companions. But, for now, I'm going to have to settle for having just rats.
Good rat art is very scarce and that's why I fav just all what I see. And I draw them itself too. I am very shy with new trhings to draw, it's very, very, very disgusting feeling. Really I could like to draw bats, mustelids and more but look at my gallery, you find only rats and horses.
It's great to hear that you're not allergic nowadays. I know it feeling (although I am not allergic) - like the animals and wants pets but can't buy (etc, I don't like that humans says they buy pets because they're living creatures) any. I know humans like that and they're happy when they can meet pets in our house. Ratties are a little new thing in my life, but I am human that kind of that I scout out all info etc what I can when I find new interest. Rats was one of that before few years. Now my life is only without real rats but all more I have... It's just so true that rats are one nof the greatest animal species. Better I can't choose, I like much also cats and horses and more. But rats could be better as first own pets.
That sounds quite a bit like me. I'd love to draw humans, rats and horses, but if you look through my gallery you'll find only dragon drawings.
I agree, rats are for sure among the very best companion animals you can get. One of my rats is asleep on my lap right now as I type this in fact, with her head stuffed halfway into my shirt to block out the light.
